Do not ride when wet and not if you are not a skilled rider. The new state course removed any of the wooden features that were present on the original 16 mile trail and replaced the skinny singletrack with a machine cut ~4′ wide track down the mountain. At the bottom the trail joins Hide and Seek above a major creek crossing. Use some caution in the corners here. This route is worth riding MANY times.

This trail begins with a small pump section with two smaller jumps and a third larger hip jump. For many mountain bikers and equestrians, this is their favorite trail or at least in their top three. Clear and dry. Kitsuma is a point to point singletrack trail that has a machine groomed tread in most parts. The trail starts with a test- a skinny with a 2 ft.

You can find everyone out here having fun from people in body armor and downhill bikes to families testing their kids limits to xc racer types riding intervals. I need to learn how to jump! This is the most fun direction to ride it. Very loose and dry. The upper half is more technical with lots of rocks and a step up onto a boulder.

You’ll be traveling right along side and only a few inches above a tiny creek. Few sections rutted out but great experience for my first ride there! The trail ends with some nice berms at the bottom. A few wet spots, but almost non-existent mud. Amazing views of Castle valley are afforded after 50 meters of riding.
